Final Game

OBJECTIVE

Theme: The theme of my game is to collect as many coins as you can.
Win: The way to win is to get to the castle without dying.
Lose: You lose by getting caught by the enemy and losing all 3 of your lives.

DETERMINE GAME GOALS

  1. One of the game goals is to collect as many coins as you can without getting caught by the enemy.
  2. The way the player advance to the next level is by reaching the guy (wario).
  3. The challenges they will face are mainly the enemies. Every time they reach another level the enemies will get stronger,
  4. Some other challenges is trying to get through the platform.
  5. There is going to be alot of challenges.

POSSIBLE OBJECT ELEMENTS

Objects: Some objects are the main character (waluigi), enemy (mario), the goal (wario).

Events: Going to the next level.

Actions: To get through the enemies without dying.

20 steps on making a platform game

20 Steps to Make a Platform Game

1. Get a sprite sheet and a tile set.
2. Go to publisher and crop every picture that showing movement.
3. Upload your sprite.
4. Click edit sprite.
5. Click animation then stretch and make as many pictures that you need.
6. Press show preview then click the check.
7. Make an object for the sprite and add all the details it needs.
8. Make another sprite which should be the platform.
9. Go to edit sprite and draw the sprite.
10. After that make, an object for the sprite platform.
11. Do a collision with sprite1 so it can walk across it without falling through.
12. Then load your tile set.
13. After you have loaded your tile set, load it as a background.
14. Next create your room.
15. Put your sprite in your room and the platform, you have to test it.
16. After testing it then you can add stuff from your tile set into your room.
17. You must put the tile set stuff in first then put the platform on top of it.
18. You must make sure that for you object platform that you un-check the visible tab and check solid.
19. After all of that then you can add anymore details you want to add to it...
20. Then test it to make sure its running right.

assignment 5- maze

the theme of my game is to get through the maze and get the object that is waiting at the end of the maze.

the object of my game is to go get the prize of treat at the end of the maze.

the events of my game are the 4 rooms. the first room is spongebob. for the spongebob game you have to make it through the maze and reach the krabby patty.. the second level of my game is scooby doo. with scooby you have to find your wat through the maze to go get the scooby snack... the 3rd level is pooh bear. in this level you have to go get the pot of honey.. the last level of my game is jerry the mouse to get through this level you have to go get the cheese at the end of the maze.

to win the game you must reach each item at the end of each maze.
there really isnt a way to lose all your doing is going through the maze.

reflection

My first experience with making a game was kind of difficult but i managed to finish it. I thought making a game would be easy and wouldn't take that much time, but i guess i was wrong. It really wasn't that easy and it took about a week for me to finish it. I found my resources from the Internet. At first i didn't know where to look but i found it. It took me a minute to find something to use but i finally found the right thing. What i did to over come my difficulties is I asked my teacher, i used the game tutorial, and i looked at some examples. I actually had fun making the game even though it was a struggle.

assignment 4

Objective:

The theme of my game is to shoot your enemy as many times that you can.


The way to win is to score as high as you can without dying. There is a score board that has the top ten scores, you have to try to get the top score.


The way you lose is by getting killed by the enemy. you can be killed if you and the enemy crashes.

Goals
  1. the goals of this game is to kill as many enemies that you can.
  2. Another goal is to get the high score on the score board.
  3. there really isnt a next level all there is, is one level.
  4. Some challenges are that you have to shoot as many enemies as you can but you cant get hit by them. If you get hit by them then you will lose a life.
  5. There is only 3 lives for the game so be careful not to crash.

Objects:

Some objects in this game is the enemy, island that can distract you and you.

Events:

The events in the game include the flying enemies coming towards you and you have to try to shoot them.

Actons:

The actions are you moving back anf fourth trying to shoot and dodge your enemies. Also trying not to run into them.

assignment 3

theme: the theme of my game is to catch the man.

win: to win you must get your score to a certain amount.

lose: there really isnt away to lose.

The goals

  1. one of the goals isto catch the man as may times that you can.
  2. As far as th player advancing to the next level.. well there really isnt a next level.
  3. there are soe challenges, the challenge is that every time you click the man the faster he gets.
  4. in my game there is reallyno way to win or lose.
  5. all your trying to do is click the man as much as you can.

Objects:

the objects that are used in this game is the man and the mouse which is you.

Events:

the events are that everytime you click the man he gets faster and the faster he gets the more your going to struggel to get him.

Action:

The actions is the speed of the man when you click him.

assignment 2

Heart Broken


  • the objective of the game is to fill your heart back up before the end of the game.

  • there can only be 4 players for the game

  • each player will be asked questions about world war 1.

  • every time you answer a question correct your heart gets filled up a little

  • after you answer 15 questions your heart will be filled up all the way.
  • if you get a question wrong your heart will stay the same.
  • the further you get to filling your heart up the more difficult the questions will get.
  • you have to try to fill your heart up before your component fill theirs up.
